Label Spotlight: Jolly Roger (Sound of Pirates!) (Italy)

Jolly Roger (Sound of Pirates!) is the name of the label launched by Nicola Fasano and Steve Forest (also known as Fish & Chips). After years of fantastic productions, remixes and international collaborations, the need to grow and enrich their own experiences in the music business led the duo to the launch of this new entity.
The first project to be released out of this collaboration was ’75 Brazil Street’, which soon reached #1 on the Beatport Top 100. ’75, Brazil Street’ was one of the major dance hits in 2008, reaching the Top 10 of the Annual Global Dance Chart and sampled in the Pitbull single ‘Calle Ocho’ (over 1.300.000 copies sold in 4 months only in the US).
Jolly Roger releases have been licensed to many prominent dance labels worldwide including Kontor, Pool E Music, Ministry of Sound, Strictly Rhythm, and Ultra Records. In addition, Jolly Roger releases are supported by DJs such as Axwell, Bob Sinclar, Erick Morillo, David Guetta, Kenny Dope, Joey Negro and many more.
