CHARTS

zipDJ compiles DJ charts for the USA and the official national DJ charts for Canada, using data electronically compiled from weekly Top10 DJ input. The zipDJ National Top40 Club, Dance and Urban Charts are sent out weekly to record labels, key industry players, and magazine/newspaper publications around the world. zipDJ supplies the official Canadian DJ charts to M.I.S. (Music Information Services) in Germany, whose Global Dance Traxx chart is in turn published by Billboard Magazine!

PRIVATE MESSAGING

Contact all zipDJ members through the private messaging system, handy for notifying the DJs about a new release or other promotion.

CREATE
zipPROMO allows you to easily create and manage professional-looking promos that are sent directly to the inbox of the recipient. You can choose whether recipients can download, or only stream the tracks, and also include include promotional material such as documents and images. Labels already using zipDJ can even send previously created releases to personal promo lists using zipPROMO.

For increased security, MP3s are embedded with digital watermarking, and each MP3 can only be downloaded once to avoid email forwarding or sharing.

SEND
With zipPROMO, you can easily create and manage unlimited mailing lists, allowing you complete control over who receives your releases. Want some to download and others to listen only? You can do that.

Addresses can be added individually, or imported using .csv format (comma separated value). And with complete integration with zipDJ, labels have access to all zipDJ members as well-- over 350 professional club and radio DJs throughout Canada and the USA.

ANALYZE
zipPROMO offers comprehensive, real-time reporting and statistics including text reactions. Reactions are mandatory and sent to you in real time via email so you can instantly see who is supporting your record!

In one glance, view the number of promo opens, track previews, and track downloads. Also view the most popular mixes, downloads vs. previews, and more all expressed as percentages, charts and graphs. All data including text reactions is conveniently downloadable as a report in .csv format, for use in Microsoft Excel.

Recipients even receive automated reminder emails for promos they have yet to review.

However, this only applies to labels with a regular release schedule (minimum one or two a month). Labels without regular product releases are encouraged to contact us for digital distribution on a per-project basis.
